Summary: We were initially checked in to a room on the first floor near the lobby. There was absolutely no sound proofing and we could hear everything that went on at the check in desk - it felt like everyone who walked in the hotel was in our room with us! By far the loudest room I’ve ever experienced. It made it impossible to relax, let alone sleep. The staff kindly moved us to the second floor but with some difficulty because the hotel was fully booked. We really appreciate the extra effort the staff put in to help us. They were kind and understanding and said that the noise issue is a known problem they’ve passed along to the owner. Our new room on the second floor was much quieter. If you stay here, make sure to get a second floor room!
