You get the entire mother-in-law's basement apartment that isn't shared with anyone. Phil is the owner of the home and lives above!! (Jereme your host is Phil's son just so you know :) The main thermostat for the home is in the upstairs unit and we can regulate the heating and cooling of the home remotely.
The home is on the same very large lot with another separate home that is also a Vacation rental Although the back house is set back you may see people coming and going from time to time. Phil is super friendly so always wave if you see him on your way in! You are at least 500-700' from the other home.
This is a basement unit so you may hear some slight noise from upstairs but since it's the owner he is usually fairly quiet!
You'll have about 3 off-street parking spots behind the home on the gravel. There is also free street parking.

We allow (2) pets! You must agree to a $25/night per pet fee (Please note taxes are not included in this fee), added to the booking total (Please inquire about the pet fees for longer stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets in furniture or on rugs, and the housekeeper has no extra work as a result of a pet being there). You accept full liability for your pets. Please keep the pets out of the bedrooms.

If you have a service animal we are 100% compliant with these laws but you are still asked to inform us AHEAD OF TIME OR IT WILL NATURALLY BE ASSUMED IT IS A PET, and you are still responsible for all cleaning and/or damage to the premises that occurs as a result of the animal. ESA in Utah is not the same as a service animal and will be treated as a pet.
