Summary: My wife and I have always stayed at a timeshare exchange unit when visiting Aruba. This time, however, we decided to arrive a day early. For the first time we would need to find an alternate accommodation for one night only. So I looked at some of the less expensive options on Hotels.com and based on price and excellent reviews we chose A1 Apartments. We were not disappointed. Everything was as described in the reviews-friendly and helpful staff and decent accommodations. Just a 5 minute walk from El Tio, a take out restautant with Aruban fare. It was a nice change from our regular routine. We would stay there again.
