Positive: The owner, Barbara was very nice. She was very accommodating. The room was nice. It was a little shy on supplies when I got there but she hooked me up. The location was downtown within walking distance of the grocery stores and the bakery. You do have to take a bus or find a ride to get to the beach because it is a few miles away. She will give you rides for a price. She takes all of her dogs to the beach every day in the morning and for sunset. I rode with her several times for the sunset. Nice. We hit it off well and still keep in touch. I would stay here again. The beaches are gorgeous and the people are friendly. Eagle Beach with the Coco Loco bar is great. They have super tasty pina coladas. I went to the butterfly farm, swam with the turtles at Tres Trapes, went to the aloe farm and found a cool little bar called The Saloon where I saw Bryan Oleson sing karaoke which was an unexpected treat. I got a wicked bad sunburn swimming with the turtles for 2 hours. I put sunscreen on but I guess it washed off. So be careful with the sun and apply lots of sunscreen many times. I ate dinner at a place called Driftwood 2X which was very good. Donnie was my server. It was great. Barbara can hook you up with places to eat too. It was about a 25-minute walk from my room. Really great trip. I will be back.

Negative: The bus transportation service seems unreliable. I hitch hiked once and people stopped and gave me rides several times. If you walk to the main bus station you can get a ride to the beach there. It's a 30-40 minute walk. It's a nice walk through the town past all the shops and stores.
