Home located on a deep-water canal, less than two miles to the gulf with no bridges. Inside has beautiful tongue and groove ceilings and walls, simulating the feel of an old wooden ship. Then step outside to enjoy one of Florida's beautiful rivers that leads to the Gulf of Mexico. This two-story home is very spacious. Perfect for entertaining family and guests. Boat house is enormous offering lots of room for most of boats. If you love to fish, boat, kayak or just enjoy the outdoors you will love this home located on a cul de sac. Close to the Withlacoochee Preserve, Withlacoochee River, Homosassa, Crystal River, Gulf of Mexico, Drs hospitals, shopping, dining and more. Easy access to Crystal River, Ocala, Gainesville, Tampa and Orlando. Disney World ONLY two hours away.
The house is unique and a definite must see. The owners recently purchased the house, and it is slowly being transformed to make it feel like the interior of a ship. The stairs case has handmade balusters made from rope and cleats giving it the appearance of a sailboat.
Upstairs there are two master suites and two queen size rooms. The first master suite has a king size bed and a custom kid’s pirate loft with a twin bed. The room also includes a bunk bed (full over twin). All four rooms upstairs share a bathroom. There is another full bathroom downstairs with a walk-in shower. The downstairs features an oversized sofa with an open floor concept to allow great flow between the kitchen and living room.
